Eight is looking for qualified data visualization and infographics designers to work on the presentation and delivery of financial research information. The goal is to tell stories with data.

We are looking for bright minds able to combine a numbers brain, with a sure esthetic eye. The job entails turning data into crisp and compelling charts, graphs and information graphics ready to be delivered across multiple media platforms: in print, and on web and mobile screens. The ideal candidate will have solid graphic design expertise and talent, combined with a geeky interest in data and display mechanics.

We ask of you:

• 3-5 years experience working on data visualization projects with a portfolio to show
• An understanding of relevant data visualization tools (experience with R or Processing is a plus)
• Past experience with financial data is ideal, but can also be other metrics-driven industries (market research, etc)
• Be detailed, precise and fast, as well as a highly collaborative team player able to work well with colleagues and clients
• Comfortable communicating in English, both spoken and written
