




To position the new Puli Hotel in Shanghai in a very competitive and cluttered market, against a backdrop of difficult economic conditions.
We chose to position The Puli as an ‘Art Hotel’ incorporating distinct Asian heritage and traditional elements set in a modern world. Design, imagery, coloring and typography come together to express a mix of ‘old and new’, all delivered via a comprehensive launch and brand communications plan including their corporate website.
The Puli has been hailed by the trade as one of Shanghai’s ‘Up and Coming’. Room bookings have steadily risen at above market rates since launch.
