Genesis of a brand experience
Most brands come to life through a four-step journey, with each stage building on the previous one:
Brand Purpose
Every great brand starts with a story of intent — a vision shaped by the people behind it and the place it calls home. For The Henderson, that vision took root in Central, Hong Kong, where ambition met artistry. Partnering with Zaha Hadid Architects, the team created a structure inspired by the bauhinia bud — a symbol of the city’s spirit and promise.
Brand Concept
From countless ideas and inspirations, a single narrative emerged: An Icon Amongst Icons. This became both blueprint and heartbeat — the essence that defined The Henderson’s identity and enduring presence.
Brand Identity
With An Icon Amongst Icons as our compass, design and storytelling intertwined. Zaha Hadid’s futuristic curves and the building’s glass precision shaped a brand language of elegance and innovation. The logo, palette, and imagery echoed the same rhythm — art meeting technology in perfect harmony.
Brand Experience
Bringing the story to life meant letting people feel the icon before its arrival. Immersive films and an experience centre offered that first encounter — a 180° cinematic journey and a skyline model that placed The Henderson among the world’s great towers, capturing the optimism and momentum of Hong Kong’s next chapter.
