Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong – IHG's Luxury Lifestyle Hotel in Hong Kong Debut

Hong Kong, 25 Jul 2025 – Global branding and design firm Eight Partnership has unveiled the brand identity for Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, Kimpton’s inaugural property in the city. With 495 rooms, it is the largest Kimpton global property to date, marking a significant milestone for the brand.

Positioned as a luxe metropolis escape among the crossroads of Tsim Sha Tsui’s local culture, iconic attractions, and vibrant arts district, Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui is set to become a landmark in Hong Kong’s hospitality scene. Developed by Empire Group and brought to life by a collective of leading design practices, the newly built property offers breathtaking views of Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour and skyline.

At the heart of every Kimpton hotel is a muse—a conceptual framework that defines the property’s personality, positioning, and guest experience. For Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui, this muse was thoughtfully crafted by Eight’s team of strategists, designers, and copywriters through an immersive exploration of the locale’s culture and character. Rooted in extensive market research, industry insights, and guest profiling, the muse serves as the creative foundation of the hotel, capturing the sensibility of Kimpton in its Hong Kong home and conveying a sense of discovery that seamlessly aligns the brand expression with Hong Kong’s dynamic city pace and a sophisticated global audience.

Bringing this distinctive branding process to life, Eight designed the hotel’s logo and visual identity—a refined and elegantly bold representation of Hong Kong’s multifaceted character. This typographic masterpiece bridges modernity with nostalgia, offering a sophisticated visual narrative that captures the city’s rich heritage and forward-thinking spirit.
