A social hub of exotic cocktails crowns Kimpton’s Hong Kong debut

Hong Kong, 3 Oct 2025 – As Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong marks the hospitality group’s debut in the city, global branding firm Eight Partnership unveils the brand for Swim Club, the hotel’s 54-seat, rooftop poolside bar. The concept is an urban hideaway blending bright, innovative mixology with social dynamism, marking Kimpton’s bold entry into Hong Kong’s cocktail scene and the wider region.

Perched on the 50th floor, Swim Club transitions from inviting indoor seating to a sun-drenched terrace, wrapping around a heated, 20-metre-long pool to face uninterrupted Victoria Harbour views. At the helm is Ram Yadav, Director of Bars, an industry veteran recognised by Diageo World Class, with a storied career bridging artisanal cocktail programmes and luxury mainstays. Tailored to discerning patrons that appreciate tastefulness with a wink, the space feels both spontaneous and composed—an attitude shaped by vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui below.

Eight defined a creative foundation for Swim Club that blends vintage, Southern California pool culture with Hong Kong’s kinetic urban energy. A spirited whimsicality underpins the brand identity, tone of voice, and sun-soaked visual language, translating into a brand experience immersed in easy, knowing playfulness.

Swim Club’s aesthetic at once assured and indulgent, yet effortlessly irreverent. A terracotta and ocean-blue palette channels the warmth of a coastal afternoon, while the logo’s custom typography mimics breaking waves, echoing the bar’s confidently sociable atmosphere. Hand-illustrated motifs are paired with whip-smart copy across physical brand collaterals like coasters and stickers, leaving guests with a tangible piece of the experience to take home.
